in this podcast i just talk about the free podhosting website Rizzn that i've been trying out. the guy who runs it is pretty friendly. he e-mails you back if you ask questions, and even gives helpful solutions.
remember the thing i posted yesterday about posts being re-encoded to 128kbps and making the file size a whole lot bigger? i e-mailed him about it and he said he fixed it to make it 64kbps for now, and he's working on a thing so that in the future you can choose which bitrate you want it to be put up with.
and earlier, i uploaded this file (the podcast for this blog entry) to rizzn and it wouldn't work (i heard a spooky recording. of the guy saying "rizzn dot net"). i e-mailed the guy and he replied back in less than half an hour telling me why it wouldn't work, something about my encoding. so i just re-encoded and re-uploaded and now it's fine.
there are some little bits strange happening though. like i uploaded a file successfully earlier, but then the link that's supposed to point to my file doesn't work. strange. anyway that's the link to my first podcast for today. i put it up for now at my school website space for now because i'm too sleepy to wait till it gets fixed.
Sept. 17, 2007 update:
my free podcast host Rizzn.net has ceased to exist since 2005, and I lost the original files, so the audio
podcast file in this post is forever gone, i guess.
