78 degrees Celsius cpu and other travails of daily life

my free podcast host Rizzn.net has ceased to exist since 2005, and I lost the

original files, so the audio podcast file in this post is forever gone, i guess.

haha, dude i know where you're going with this.

nope, none. i tried to minimize stuff plugged into the computer. i even removed the power cord from the cd-rom at one point, and opened one side of the computer door but it didn't work. it was still very hot (according to the Asus Probe software).

so i just bought a new cpu cooler fan a week after. everything's okay now. the Prescott line of Pentium cpus are known to run a little hotter than usual, i found out after research on the web. yeah.
